Japanese director Eiichiro Homma is a passionate sailor who has been creating marine sportswear since 1982. He founded nanamica in 2003, a label whose pioneering blend of traditional workwear, contemporary fashion and performance wear quickly proved successful. Homma also directs The North Face Purple Label, an exclusive, Japan-only collection.Â
